Before Delilah was apart of the Kids Center family, our family was navigating this world alone having a child with Autism and Erbs Palsy. Kids Center has been the best thing to come into Delilah's life. They have made so many positive impacts (and still do) in Delilah's life that show daily in everything she does. Before Kids Center Delilah was labeled "Non-verbal" but with the amazing knowledge from her speech therapist, it was discovered that Delilah has Gestalt Language Processing. If it weren't for Kids Center, our family would have never known! Now we know how to speak to Delilah in ways she can grow her communication. The amazing therapist at Kids Center have helped Delilah get rid of her fear of doctor office settings. They showed her just how fun going to therapy can be after Delilah faced many negative experiences with passed therapist and therapy centers.
Kids Center has changed our lives! They finally allowed our family find a place where we fit in!
